Good day Audrey Fans,
I'm taking an acting class, and would like to pull my practise monologue from one of her movies. . . .but I can't make up my mind, so I though, who better to ask than my fellow Audrey fans?
What scene would you recommend, and from what film?

Re: Pick a monologue from an Audrey film.
Mon, August 8, 2005 - 3:01 PMWell, this is an old post I see but... oh well! :) I would suggest Breakfast at Tiffanys. I love the ending scene with George Peppard. She finally connects with CAT who is so symbolic in the movie and with Paul. She makes herself totally vulnerable and completely changes from what she has been thru the entire movie.
For a lighter scene I love where she meets Paul. The phone in the suitcase, the ear plugs and my favorite line. "If I could find a real life place to make me feel like Tiffany's, then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name." --Holly.

Re: Pick a monologue from an Audrey film.
Fri, September 15, 2006 - 7:04 AMMy favorite scenes are any scenes wherein she flirts with Gary Grant in Charade. But the scene in My Fair Lady when she's at Higgins' mother's house drinking tea describing what makes a lady.
The scene in Breakfast at Tiffanys when she describes what her life will be like when she brings her nine Brazilian brats back to visit New York.
The scene in the alley with cat she just cries in and all she says is "Cat! Cat?................Where's the Cat?"
Yes, I know this post is ancient.
